Guizhou Normal College, with its predecessor Guizhou Education College founded in 1978, was transformed to a full-time undergraduate college in March, 2009 after the approval of restructuring by the Ministry of Education.

The college is located in the beautiful summer resort----Guiyang, including 3 campuses: Hebin, Xiaohe and Wudang. The whole campus covers an area of 108.07 acres, with the construction area of 277,022.53㎡. Besides, Wudang campus is close to the forest zone around the city, surrounded by exuberant woods, mountains, fresh air and fantastic environment. In June, 2010, our college was awarded as the first “Green College” and “Environmental Education Base” by Guizhou Education Department and Guizhou Environment Protection Department.

The total number of faculty and staff in Guizhou Normal College is 616, including 36 professors, 99 associate professors, 8 experts with special government allowances, and 266 teachers with PhD or master degree.
